Free help in Australia, for you or someone close
Gambling Help Online answers 1800 858 858 around the clock. The call costs nothing and stays confidential, and you can ring about your own play or about a partner, parent, child or friend. You do not need a full explanation or a plan first; working out the next step is part of the conversation.
Check gamblinghelponline.org.au for current service details, not a casino page, ours included.
How a VegasNow deposit limit works
A deposit limit is the simplest brake we offer. Choose an amount and a period, set it before you play and treat it as fixed. Say A$130 a month is what you could lose without it touching rent or bills. That is your limit, and after three A$35 deposits the A$25 left is the room remaining, not a reason to raise it.
One gap matters. Our account terms (version 2.3, 20 January 2024) carve crypto out in section 8.4: a deposit limit cannot be placed on a cryptocurrency deposit. If you fund with coins, ask support which controls cover them before you rely on a limit.
VegasNow self-exclusion and account closure
A limit, an account closure and self-exclusion are three different requests, so name the one you want. Self-exclusion is available in your account, or you can ask our support team. Activation times can vary, so get the scope and start date confirmed in writing, and keep that reply.
Ask as well what happens to your access and existing account records, and how to stop promotional emails. Keep that request separate from any question about an offer.
Where BetStop fits, and why it misses VegasNow
BetStop, run as a national register, lets you exclude yourself from wagering providers that hold Australian licences, and it is worth using for those. VegasNow's licence was issued in Curaçao, which puts us outside that register: signing up there will not touch your VegasNow account. For that, turn on self-exclusion in your account or ask support to apply it. Our licensing page explains the licence.
Questions worth bringing to a support call
- I am spending more than I meant to. What can help with the money side?
- Which of the sites I use can I exclude myself from, and how?
- How do I stop gambling emails and offers reaching me?
- Someone close to me gambles. Is there support for me as well?
Nothing obliges you to keep playing at VegasNow
Losing is never a reason to raise your stakes, and no bonus repairs gambling harm. You can decline any bonus and stop whenever you choose. If you notice yourself chasing losses, playing longer than planned or hiding play from people close to you, that is a good moment to call 1800 858 858 or set a limit. Play is for over-18s only.
VegasNow responsible gambling: questions and answers
Can BetStop block my VegasNow account?
No. BetStop's scope is Australian-licensed wagering, and our licence is from Curaçao. Self-exclude in your account, or email support@vegasnow.com and ask for it to be applied.
Does my deposit limit apply to crypto?
No. Under section 8.4 of our version 2.3 terms, coin deposits sit outside deposit limits. Ask support which controls can cover crypto.
How do I know my self-exclusion has started?
Request a written reply from support stating the scope and the start date, and save it somewhere you can find it.
Can I call Gambling Help Online about someone else?
Yes. 1800 858 858 is free and confidential, and you can call about a person you care about as well as about yourself.
