Gates of Olympus at VegasNow: three editions, one set of account rules
You will find three Pragmatic Play versions of Gates of Olympus in our pokies lobby: the original, the 1000 edition and the Super Scatter edition. They wear the same Zeus artwork yet follow different rules, so we keep each one's published numbers separate here, price the multiplier and Super Scatter maths in A$, and show what a spin does for your bonus, your loyalty balance and the A$8 stake ceiling.

Gates of Olympus at VegasNow: the figures at a glance
All three versions come from Pragmatic Play. The numbers below are taken from that studio's game pages or from our own published terms, and a cell reads "Not published here" whenever no verified figure exists. Filling those cells with a value lifted from another edition, or from somebody else's website, would only mislead you.
| Item | Original | 1000 edition | Super Scatter edition |
|---|---|---|---|
| Layout | Six reels, no paylines, tumbling wins | Not published here | Tumbling wins |
| What forms a win | Eight or more of one symbol, anywhere; the paytable runs to 30 | Not published here | Not published here |
| Multipliers | Worth as much as 500× each; summed when several land | Not published here | Worth as much as 500× |
| Feature | 15 free spins for four or more scatters | Not published here | Fixed awards of 100×, 500×, 5,000× and 50,000× for one to four Super Scatters |
| Top win | Not published here | Not published here | 50,000× the stake |
| Return to player | 96.50% | Not published here | Not published here |
| Bonus wagering | Counted in full as slots, unless our terms list the edition as an exception | ||
| Loyalty | A point of each kind for every A$25 of real-money stakes | ||
| Stake ceiling while a bonus runs | A$8 per spin | ||
Volatility for every edition, plus the full specification of the 1000 version, lives in the info panel you open inside each game. Check it there before a session if one of those numbers shapes how you play.
Finding the right Olympus edition in the VegasNow lobby
Search the lobby for "Olympus" and the three versions line up next to each other. A search for the studio name, or the provider dropdown, widens the list to Pragmatic Play's whole catalogue. Filters combine, so pairing the provider with an unrelated category can return nothing at all; clearing them fixes that.
The cards share the Zeus picture, which is the main reason players open the wrong one. Use the thumbnail to locate a game, then let the loading-screen title and the info panel tell you which rules apply. Our catalogue names the Super Scatter version under Pragmatic Play, and the original also turns up in the gallery artwork.
Tapping the star on a card files it under Saved games in that browser. It survives a refresh but stays on the one device, so save your favourite version again on a second phone or laptop. The pokies overview explains why the exact edition comes first, and the Book of Ra page faces the same three-way split with Novomatic games.
How a spin of the original Gates of Olympus plays out
Six reels, no paylines. In the original, symbols pay by how many of them are showing, not by where they sit. Eight of one kind anywhere on the grid is the smallest win, and payouts keep rising up to thirty of a kind, whether those symbols form a neat row or are sprinkled across every reel.
Tumbles
A paid win clears off the screen and fresh symbols fall into the holes. Should the new arrivals finish another win, that clears in turn and the grid refills again, until one drop produces nothing. Only the opening spin costs money. Every tumble in the chain belongs to that one paid spin, a detail that matters later when we count wagering, since seven tumbles in a row still represent a single stake.
The free-spin feature
Four or more scatters on one spin hand you 15 free spins, paid for by the stake that triggered them. Pragmatic Play gives no trigger frequency, so talk of the feature being "due" is a guess dressed up as a fact.
Reading 96.50%
That is the return to player Pragmatic Play publishes for the original. Think of it as the game's arithmetic over millions of spins. Across 300 spins on a Tuesday night your result can land well clear of it on either side, and neither outcome contradicts the figure. It describes the original alone; do not apply it to the other two versions.
Olympus multipliers: why adding matters
Multiplier symbols can be worth as much as 500×. When more than one shows up on the same spin, the values are summed, and that sum is what multiplies the win. They are never multiplied by one another. Because the two readings produce wildly different numbers, here they are side by side. We chose these values to illustrate the maths; which ones actually turn up, and how often, is entirely up to the game.
| Multipliers showing | Summed total (how it pays) | Multiplied together (how it does not pay) | Base win | Win after the summed total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3×, 8× and 15× | 26× | 360× | A$2.50 | A$65 |
| 4× and 20× | 24× | 80× | A$1.20 | A$28.80 |
| 50× and 250× | 300× | 12,500× | A$0.60 | A$180 |
The third column exists only to correct a popular misreading. A pair of small multipliers nudges a win up a little; it takes one big value, or a cluster of mid-sized ones, to move it far. And a multiplier works on a win, so it needs a win to work on.
The 96.50% figure already includes every big multiplier the game will ever pay. A session with a 300× total and a session without one are equally normal.
Gates of Olympus Super Scatter: four fixed awards and the A$5,000 cap
Underneath, the Super Scatter version still tumbles and still drops multipliers worth up to 500×. What it adds is a special scatter with prizes fixed in advance: count the Super Scatters showing during the feature and you know the multiple of your stake. Four of them pay 50,000×, which is also this version's published top win, so the last row is the ceiling.
| Super Scatters showing | Multiple of stake | Spinning at A$0.50 | Spinning at A$3 | Spinning at A$8 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| One | 100× | A$50 | A$300 | A$800 |
| Two | 500× | A$250 | A$1,500 | A$4,000 |
| Three | 5,000× | A$2,500 | A$15,000 | A$40,000 |
| Four | 50,000× | A$25,000 | A$150,000 | A$400,000 |
The dollar columns are straight multiplication, not predictions. No hit frequency is published for any row, and the 50,000× outcome is the rarest the version can produce.
Where the bonus cap takes over
While a deposit bonus is running, what that offer lets you keep tops out at A$5,000. Working backwards from that figure shows the stake at which each award collides with it:
- One Super Scatter (100×) would need a A$50 stake, far beyond the A$8 ceiling.
- Two (500×) would need A$10 a spin. At A$8 the prize is A$4,000, under the cap.
- Three (5,000×) meet the cap exactly at A$1 a spin and exceed it above that.
- Four (50,000×) meet it at a mere A$0.10 a spin.
So with a bonus open and a stake above A$1, betting more cannot raise what you keep from the two largest awards. Without a bonus the cap falls away, though method limits, the account's daily, weekly and monthly withdrawal ceilings and instalment payments for large sums remain, as our withdrawals page explains.
How Olympus spins count toward the VegasNow welcome package
Every Olympus version is a slot, and the 26 February 2024 edition of our bonus terms counts slot stakes at 100%, apart from titles the terms name as exceptions. Look for your version on that list; if it is absent, a dollar staked is a dollar cleared. Compare roulette at 25%, blackjack and the game shows at 10%, and baccarat at zero, and the reason pokies do most of the clearing is obvious.
The package itself spreads up to A$8,000 and 500 free spins over four deposits. Stage one is a 150% match capped at A$1,500 with 200 spins and needs no code. Stage two, code VEGAS2, matches 100% to A$2,000 with 50 spins. Stage three, VEGAS3, is 50% to A$2,000, again with 50 spins. Stage four, VEGAS4, pays 25% to A$2,500 plus 200 spins.
The house rules for every stage: a A$20 minimum deposit, raised to A$30 by card or MiFinity and A$25 by Cashtocode; 40× wagering on the bonus and on free-spin winnings; seven days to finish; spins released after the deposit has been played through once; a A$5,000 ceiling on deposit-bonus winnings per offer and A$300 on welcome spin winnings; one bonus at a time; casino and live casino only, never sport. The welcome bonus page covers each condition, and you are free to decline a stage that does not fit your play.
Worked example: an A$90 deposit cleared on Gates of Olympus
Picture a first deposit of A$90. The 150% match brings A$135 of bonus money, and forty lots of A$135 make A$5,400 to wager inside a week. On an Olympus version counted at 100%, your stake decides how many paid spins that takes:
| Stake per spin | Paid spins for A$5,400 | Daily share across 7 days |
|---|---|---|
| A$1 | 5,400 | About 771 |
| A$2.50 | 2,160 | About 309 |
| A$4 | 1,350 | About 193 |
| A$8, the ceiling with a bonus open | 675 | About 96 |
Three side rules travel with that A$5,400. The stage's 200 free spins stay locked until the A$90 deposit has been played through once, so your first A$90 of stakes comes before them. If the spins then return, say, A$18, that A$18 needs A$720 of wagering of its own (40 × A$18), and welcome spin winnings stop at A$300 regardless. Finally, our account terms want three times the deposit staked, here A$270, before a withdrawal linked to it is paid, bonus or no bonus.
A tumble chain of six wins still counts once toward the A$5,400. VEGAS2 stays parked until this bonus is cleared, declined or expired, because only one can be live. And if 675 spins at A$8 in a week, or 2,160 at A$2.50, is more than you want to play, saying no to the bonus is a sensible call.
Keeping each Olympus spin at A$8 or less while a VegasNow bonus runs
For the whole life of any bonus on your VegasNow account, no single spin may exceed A$8. That applies to welcome stages, the reloads on our weekly promotions page and anything exchanged in the Loyalty Store. Fix the stake in the bet selector before spin one, and look again whenever you hop between versions; the setting in one game says nothing about the next.
Olympus is a game that tempts people past the line. A six-step tumble or a fat multiplier total can make a small stake look timid, and the urge is to push the next bet higher. With a bonus open that gains you nothing you can keep, as the Super Scatter maths shows, and breaking the A$8 rule can cost you the bonus and anything won with it.
Before you start
See whether a bonus is live in your account and note the day its seven days end.
First spin
Set the selector at A$8 or lower and leave it alone until the bonus is finished.
After a big hit
Nothing about the limit, the cap or the requirement has changed. Keep the stake where it was.
VegasNow loyalty points from Gates of Olympus
Our loyalty scheme has seven tiers, each borrowing the name of a Las Vegas venue, and it rewards real-money play only. Olympus earns at the slot rate: every A$25 staked adds a redeemable point and a status point. Roulette needs A$100 per point and blackjack or baccarat A$250, so per dollar a pokie collects points four times as quickly as the wheel and ten times as quickly as the card tables.
Points in practice
- A$275 of real-money spins collects 11 points; at A$2.50 a spin that is 110 spins.
- A$5,000 of slot stakes collects 200 points, the minimum Loyalty Store exchange, worth a A$5 bonus at Golden Glimmer.
- That A$5 bonus needs A$200 of wagering (40 × A$5), or 80 spins at A$2.50 on a version counted in full.
- Keeping 2,000 points for one exchange returns A$60, compared with A$50 from ten exchanges of 200.
The store rate improves as you climb. Parisian Palace Las Vegas members receive A$20 for 750 points, and at Bella Vista 100,000 points convert to A$5,000. Your tier depends on status points, which at the slot rate turn each published threshold into a set amount of turnover:
| Tier | Slot turnover needed | Status points |
|---|---|---|
| Golden Glimmer I | None, every account starts here | Starting tier |
| Golden Glimmer II | A$15,000 | 600 |
| Golden Glimmer III | A$50,000 | 2,000 |
| Gondola Grand I | A$12,500,000 | 500,000 |
| Julius Palace III | A$75,000,000 | 3,000,000 |
| Bella Vista | A$125,000,000 | 5,000,000 |
Unpublished steps between these rows appear in your account. Turnover is money staked, not money lost, and points build on stakes whatever the reels return. Because points follow real-money wagers, our VIP and loyalty page keeps them on a different ledger from bonus wagering; it also describes the Sin City VIP Lounge.
Six checks before a VegasNow Gates of Olympus session
- Version. The loading-screen title and the info-panel feature match the game you meant to open.
- Bonus. If one is live, the stake reads A$8 or less and your version is not named as an exception in our terms.
- Deadline. You know which day the bonus lapses, seven days after it began.
- Budget. You have a deposit cap in place, picked calmly beforehand instead of after a bad run.
- Spin order. On a welcome stage, you have played the deposit through once so the free spins can unlock.
- Cash-out. You have allowed for three-times deposit turnover, a possible identity check and a payout method in your own name.
Slip-ups worth avoiding
- Quoting 96.50% for the 1000 or Super Scatter version; Pragmatic Play publishes it for the original.
- Turning 3×, 8× and 15× into 360× in your head. Summed, they make 26×.
- Treating each tumble as a fresh stake toward wagering.
- Lifting the bet past A$8 after a big hit while a bonus is open.
- Depositing again mid-bonus and expecting VEGAS2 to start straight away.
- Expecting a huge Super Scatter prize won on bonus money to be paid out whole; the A$5,000 per-offer ceiling applies.
Gates of Olympus on your phone
VegasNow is a browser casino. We have no App Store or Google Play listing and publish no APK, so any download carrying our name came from someone else. Safari users can tap Share, then Add to Home Screen; Chrome users open the More menu and pick Install or create a shortcut. Our mobile page walks through both, including Open as Web App on iPhone.
It is one account across every screen, so a live bonus and its A$8 ceiling follow you onto the phone. Give the bet selector a second glance on a small display, where a stray thumb can move it.
Playing Olympus within your limits at VegasNow
Every Olympus spin is chance. A tumble chain that fizzles, or a hundred spins with no big multiplier, is not a sign of a large win on the way, and a bigger stake will not win back money already gone. Put a deposit cap on your account before you play, and turn to self-exclusion if the game stops being fun. Our responsible gambling page explains each control.
Gambling Help Online takes confidential calls on 1800 858 858 and runs gamblinghelponline.org.au. Licence OGL/2024/164/0246 from the Curaçao Gaming Authority covers our casino; the holder is Just Entertainment B.V., Curaçao company 160603, and the licence register shows the record. Gates of Olympus at VegasNow: questions and answers
Is Gates of Olympus 1000 just a bigger version of the original?
Treat it as a separate game. It carries its own name, rules and figures in our lobby, and its specification is in its own info panel. The 96.50% RTP and the four-scatter, 15-spin feature belong to the original.
What RTP is published for Gates of Olympus?
Pragmatic Play gives 96.50% for the original. It describes the game over millions of spins, so a single evening can sit well above or below it. For the other two versions, check the in-game info panel.
Do Olympus multipliers multiply each other?
No, they are summed. Three symbols showing 3×, 8× and 15× give 26×, which turns a A$2.50 win into A$65.
How much can Super Scatters pay?
One to four Super Scatters in the feature are worth 100×, 500×, 5,000× and 50,000× the stake: A$300, A$1,500, A$15,000 and A$150,000 at A$3 a spin. With a bonus open, the A$5,000 per-offer ceiling still decides what you keep.
Does each tumble count separately toward wagering?
No. The whole chain hangs off one paid spin, so ten tumbles at a A$2.50 stake add A$2.50 to your progress, not A$25.
How much does Olympus count toward the welcome bonus?
Slots count in full under our bonus terms of 26 February 2024, apart from listed exceptions. If your version is not on that list, A$1 staked is A$1 off the 40× target.
What is the top stake with a bonus active?
A$8 a spin on every version, from the moment a bonus starts until it ends. Welcome stages, weekly reloads and Loyalty Store bonuses all bring the same limit.
How many loyalty points does Olympus earn?
The slot rate: a redeemable point and a status point for each A$25 of real money. A$350 of spins collects 14 points; 200 points buy a A$5 bonus at Golden Glimmer.
Can I play Gates of Olympus on a phone?
Yes, through Safari or Chrome. We offer no native app or APK, but saving the site to your Home Screen gives you a one-tap icon.
