VegasNow Crazy Time: the wheel, the bets and the bonus maths

Evolution's Crazy Time brings a live host, a 54-segment money wheel and four bonus rounds to the live-casino section of the VegasNow lobby. Below we take a round from first chip to result, keep the published figures apart from guesswork, and work out what a Crazy Time stake does to a bonus requirement, a cash-out cap and your loyalty balance.

Crazy Time at VegasNow: the published figures

A figure only appears here if Evolution or our own terms publish it. Rows describing the game come from Evolution; the last three come from our general bonus terms. If a number is not in this table, treat it as unverified, whoever is quoting it.

Notice what is missing. We do not quote odds for individual number spots or the multipliers inside each bonus round, because those belong to the game's own paytable and help screen. Open them inside the game before your first round. Our live casino overview shows where Crazy Time sits among the other streamed titles.

One round of Crazy Time, start to finish

Every round runs through the same four beats. Once you know them, the screen stops looking busy.

1. Chips on the layout

The countdown begins. The layout has a spot for every number the wheel carries and a spot for each of the four bonus rounds. Back one spot or several; each one you choose is settled on its own, with its own chips.

2. Top Slot

Next, Top Slot singles out one bet spot and gives it a multiplier for this round only, as high as 50×.

3. The wheel turns

The host spins. The segment the wheel settles on is this round's only winner.

4. Paid, lost or into a bonus

If that segment is a number, chips on that number are paid and the rest of the layout is cleared. If it is a bonus round, whoever backed that bonus spot plays it, and the bonus result is applied to their stake. Everything else loses.

Keep two things in mind. A round has exactly one winning segment, so backing extra spots makes the round dearer without opening a second way to be paid. And seeing a bonus round on screen does not mean you are in it: only chips on that bonus spot earn a place.

How the VegasNow Crazy Time layout pays

Numbers

Back a number and you are paid if the wheel settles on it, at the odds the game lists for that spot. A Top Slot multiplier sitting on that number for the round lifts the win.

Bonus rounds

Backing Pachinko, Cash Hunt, Coin Flip or Crazy Time buys entry, not a set amount. The payout is worked out inside the bonus itself, and the Crazy Time round holds the largest figure Evolution publishes, 20,000× the stake. How each round plays is laid out in the game's help screen and on Evolution's how-to-play page, and we point you there rather than retelling it.

Top Slot

Top Slot is conditional. It boosts a spot only if that spot then wins. On a losing spot it has no value at all, however large, since there is no return for it to multiply.

Four Crazy Time rounds, worked through with real numbers

When the ceiling meets the cash-out cap

Forty cents sits on the Crazy Time spot. The wheel lands there and the bonus ends at 20,000×, Evolution's published maximum, so A$0.40 becomes A$8,000. Two caveats. That figure is the outer edge, not a typical result, and no particular spin makes it more likely. And if the balance you were playing was tied to a deposit bonus, the A$5,000 cash-out cap per offer can trim what you are able to withdraw. That cap belongs to the bonus; money you deposited yourself is not subject to it.

Backing all four bonus spots

A$1.50 each on Pachinko, Coin Flip, Cash Hunt and Crazy Time is A$6 per round. A number result wipes out all four, so A$6 is gone. A bonus result carries one A$1.50 stake into that round and loses the remaining A$4.50. Put A$2 on a number as well and you are at A$8, the limit with a bonus open.

Six thin stakes

Fifty cents on each of six spots is A$3 a round. Only one segment can win, so at least five of those chips lose every single round: A$2.50 at minimum, before any payout on the sixth.

A 50× on the wrong spot

Top Slot drops its maximum 50× onto a number where you have A$1.25. The wheel settles elsewhere. You lose the A$1.25, and the multiplier vanishes with the round.

Crazy Time stakes and VegasNow bonus wagering

Under our general bonus terms, dated 26 February 2024, game shows such as Crazy Time contribute 10% to wagering, level with blackjack. Roulette contributes 25%, slots 100% except listed titles, and baccarat 0%. Put another way, A$10 placed on the Crazy Time layout moves your requirement by A$1, whatever the wheel does.

Since the welcome package is valid in the live casino as well as the casino, Crazy Time qualifies. A new example: a A$130 first deposit attracts the 150% first-stage match of A$195, and at 40× that bonus brings A$7,800 of wagering, with seven days to finish it.

With a bonus open, treat the A$8 limit as the combined total of all your spots in a round. A full A$8 round adds 80 cents to the counter however you split the chips; drop to A$2 a round and the same A$7,800 takes 39,000 rounds.

Later stages scale the same way. A A$350 second deposit with code VEGAS2 is matched 100%, so A$350 of bonus and A$14,000 of wagering at 40×. Played entirely on Crazy Time, that is A$140,000 of stakes, or 17,500 rounds at A$8: about 2,500 rounds for each of the seven days.

The other bonus rules still apply. Just one bonus can be open at a time, so the VEGAS2 stage cannot start until stage one is finished, has lapsed or has been turned down. Each deposit-bonus offer has a A$5,000 limit on what can be cashed out. Seven days is the lifespan. Separately, our account terms require three times turnover on every deposit before the related funds are withdrawn, which means A$390 of play on the A$130, bonus or not. The welcome bonus page covers all four stages, and card players will find the matching sums on our live blackjack page.

Why Crazy Time is a slow route through a VegasNow bonus

Contribution is the core problem. Crazy Time needs ten dollars on the layout for each dollar an eligible pokie would need, so A$7,800 turns into A$78,000. Betting cleverly does not help, since the counter reads stakes and ignores results.

Time compounds it. The host sets the pace, each round has its own countdown and spin, and the seven-day window shrinks whether or not you are logged in. Something like 1,393 rounds a day for a week is beyond any normal evening.

The RTP range gives that turnover a long-run price. Across A$78,000 of stakes, a 96.08% average implies a theoretical cost of A$3,057.60; at 94.41% it is A$4,360.20. Compare either with the A$195 bonus that set the requirement. These are averages worked out on paper, not predictions, and a real week can land far from them in either direction.

Splitting a week between the reels and the wheel

Hold the requirement at A$7,800. Put A$7,000 of it through eligible pokies and A$800 through Crazy Time, and the stakes are A$7,000 plus A$8,000: A$15,000 instead of A$78,000. At A$4 a round, the wheel's share is 2,000 rounds.

Saying no to the bonus

If the wheel is your main interest, our general terms let you turn a bonus down. You then lose the A$8 limit, the seven-day window and the 40× target, though deposits still need their three times turnover before withdrawal. See the terms page for both rules.

Reading the RTP band and the results board

Evolution quotes Crazy Time's return to player as a band, from 94.41% to 96.08%. The band exists because the long-run average shifts with the spots you back. Nothing in it says where your own session will finish: return to player is measured over an enormous number of rounds, and a few dozen rounds can end far from it either way.

The results board next to the stream is history. Evolution states that earlier Crazy Time outcomes do not forecast the next spin, and the wheel carries no memory of a bonus that has stayed away for an hour. A quiet segment is not due, and a recent one is not cold. Use the board to follow the show, never to time a bet.

Crazy Time beside other VegasNow live games

Crazy Time is one of three live titles with a page of their own on this site. The differences that matter for a bonus or for loyalty are set out below.

If clearing a bonus at a live table is the plan, roulette's 25% rate gets there on well under half the stakes the wheel needs. If the show itself is the point, declining the bonus keeps the arithmetic out of the way.

Crazy Time and the VegasNow loyalty scheme

Our loyalty scheme climbs through seven tiers named after Las Vegas venues, and every tier is fed by real-money play. Published earning rates exist for four game types: A$25 per point on slots (each earning one redeemable and one status point), A$100 on roulette, and A$250 on blackjack and on baccarat. Game shows are not on that list. Your VegasNow account displays the rate that applies to Crazy Time, and we would rather send you there than invent one.

Spending points is better documented. The Loyalty Store swaps 200 points for A$5 at Golden Glimmer, where everyone starts, and a saved block of 2,000 for A$60. Further up, Parisian Palace Las Vegas gives A$20 for 750 points and Bella Vista A$5,000 for 100,000. Each of those bonuses arrives with 40× wagering attached, and that is where a 10% game hurts.

Points spentBonus40× requirementOn Crazy Time at 10%A$8 rounds

100,000 at Bella VistaA$5,000A$200,000A$2,000,000250,000

So if you do take a store bonus, an eligible pokie clears it far faster: the A$200 attached to a A$5 swap is just A$200 of spins. Tier thresholds and the Sin City VIP Lounge, which works by selection, are covered on our loyalty and VIP page.

Playing VegasNow Crazy Time on your phone

Everything about Crazy Time, from the video to the betting grid and the Top Slot display, works inside Safari or Chrome. We publish no native VegasNow app for iOS or Android and no APK, so any download carrying our name did not come from us. To launch the site from an icon in Safari, use the Share button and choose Add to Home Screen, keeping Open as Web App switched on if you prefer it without the address bar. In Chrome on Android, look for Install or create a shortcut in the menu; some older versions label it Add to Home screen.

Streaming video uses more data than a pokie, and the countdown keeps its own time even when your signal wobbles. Stick to a steady connection, get chips down early, and put a deposit limit on your account before the first round. Should the stream cut out in the middle of a round, keep a note of when it happened and of any round ID visible, then send it to support through your account. What counts is the outcome logged for your account, not whatever was frozen on your display. The mobile page has sign-in advice and fixes for a stalled stream.

Setting a Crazy Time session budget

Game shows are designed to hold your attention: a host, a countdown, and a new spin the moment the last one settles. A plan made before the first chip is easier to keep than one made mid-session.

  1. Choose the session amount. Say A$85, money you are comfortable spending on entertainment.
  2. Choose a round size and work out the runway. At A$1.50 a round, A$85 pays for 56 rounds of stakes with A$1 left over, before any wins come back.
  3. Fix your coverage. Decide which spots you will back and stay with them. Widening coverage after a loss only makes each round dearer.
  4. Set the stop. A time limit, a balance floor, or both, backed by a matching deposit limit in your account.

The urge to cover extra spots after a cold run is the signal to log off, not to spread wider. The same goes for a good night: a bonus round that pays well is a fine moment to stop, not proof that the next hour will go the same way.

Common Crazy Time mistakes

  • Planning around 20,000×. It is Evolution's published maximum for one bonus round, a ceiling rather than something to expect.
  • Banking a Top Slot multiplier early. It is worth something only if the wheel then stops on that spot.
  • Believing more spots means more wins. One segment wins per round, however many you cover.
  • Reading the results board as a forecast. Earlier spins say nothing about the next one.
  • Assuming a full contribution. Game shows count 10%, so A$7,800 of requirement means A$78,000 of stakes.
  • Going over A$8 a round with a bonus open. Add up every spot you cover before the countdown ends.
  • Expecting a share of a bonus round you did not back. Only chips on that bonus spot take part.
  • Asking for a withdrawal too soon after depositing. Each deposit needs three times turnover first; otherwise the request may be refused or a processing fee charged.

Responsible play with VegasNow Crazy Time

Just Entertainment B.V. operates VegasNow. Its Curaçao Gaming Authority licence, OGL/2024/164/0246, can be checked on the public validator, and play is restricted to adults aged 18 and above.

Each spin starts fresh, and no segment is ever owed to anyone. Decide your budget before the first round, set deposit limits in your account, and use self-exclusion if the show stops feeling like fun. Our responsible gambling page takes you through each tool. BetStop, the national register, covers Australian-licensed wagering providers; for VegasNow itself, the self-exclusion setting in your account does the job.

VegasNow Crazy Time: questions and answers

What is the Crazy Time RTP?

Evolution gives a band of 94.41% to 96.08% instead of a single figure, since the long-run average moves with the spots you choose. It is measured across a huge number of rounds and says nothing certain about one session.

How much of a Crazy Time bet counts toward wagering?

A tenth. Game shows contribute 10% under our general bonus terms, so clearing A$7,800 of requirement on the wheel means staking A$78,000, compared with A$7,800 on an eligible pokie.

Is the welcome package valid on Crazy Time?

It is, because it covers both the casino and the live casino. Keep the combined stake on every round at A$8 or below while it is open, and watch the seven-day deadline.

How does Top Slot work?

Each round it gives one bet spot a multiplier, as high as 50×. You benefit only if you have chips on that spot and the wheel then stops on it.

What is the most Crazy Time can pay?

The highest figure Evolution publishes is 20,000× the stake, in the Crazy Time bonus round. It is a ceiling, not an expectation, and the A$5,000 per-offer cash-out cap can apply if a deposit bonus is tied to your balance.

Can the results board predict the next spin?

No. It is a record of spins already played, and Evolution notes that previous outcomes have no predictive value for the next one.

Do I earn loyalty points playing Crazy Time?

Real-money play earns points, but the public earning table covers only slots, roulette, blackjack and baccarat, and your account shows the game-show rate. Loyalty Store swaps begin at 200 points for a A$5 bonus with 40× wagering.

Do I need an app to play Crazy Time on my phone?

No. It runs in Safari or Chrome. We publish no native app or APK, but a Home Screen shortcut gives you a one-tap icon.
