VegasNow Live Blackjack: tables, side bets and bonus maths
Our live blackjack is streamed by Evolution and listed in the live-casino section of the VegasNow lobby, from seven-seat classics to Infinite Blackjack and Power Blackjack. This page follows a hand from first chip to payout, explains each way to stake, and shows exactly what blackjack does to a bonus requirement and to your loyalty balance.

VegasNow live blackjack at a glance
Start with the essentials. Each row below comes either from Evolution's product information or from our own published bonus and loyalty terms.
| Item | At VegasNow |
|---|---|
| Who streams the tables | Evolution |
| Formats in the lobby | Classic seven-seat tables, Infinite Blackjack, Power Blackjack |
| How you can stake | Your own seat, Bet Behind on a seated player's hand, side bets |
| Side bets | Most tables: Perfect Pairs, 21+3. Infinite and Power Blackjack also carry Bust It, Hot 3 and Any Pair |
| Share of each stake counted toward a bonus | 10% (bonus terms, 26 February 2024) |
| Bet ceiling with a bonus running | A$8 |
| Loyalty rate | 1 point for every A$250 staked |
| Age | 18+ account holders only |
For anyone playing with a bonus, two of those rows do most of the work: the 10% rate and the A$8 ceiling. The rest of this page shows how they collide with the speed of a real dealer and a real shoe. Our live casino overview puts blackjack next to the other streamed games.
A live blackjack round at VegasNow, step by step
You play against the dealer and nobody else. The players beside you draw from the same shoe, so their choices shape which cards appear, but they never change the comparison that decides your stake.
1. Chips down
A countdown runs across the screen. Your main stake goes on the spot in front of your seat, and any side bets go on the small spots next to it. Once the timer hits zero, the hand is locked.
2. The deal
Two cards land at every seat and two at the dealer's position, one of the dealer's showing. That visible card, the upcard, is all you know about the house hand when you choose what to do.
3. Your call
On your turn you draw again or stay where you are. Pass 21 and the hand is gone immediately, without waiting for the dealer. Any further options a given table allows appear as buttons on your turn, and its rules panel explains them.
4. Dealer plays, bets settle
After the last seat acts, the dealer plays the house hand by the rules shown on the table. Your total is then measured against it, and the one nearer 21 takes the hand. Side bets settle on their own terms, separately.
The timer belongs to the studio, so act with time to spare, especially on mobile. If the video freezes, jot down the table name, the time and any round number on screen, then message support from your account. Our team works from the result recorded against your account, not from the frame your phone happened to be showing.
Blackjack formats you will find in the VegasNow lobby
Our live section carries more than one style of blackjack, and the differences are about rules, not decor. This is the published detail for each Evolution format.
| Format | What Evolution publishes | Side bets |
|---|---|---|
| Classic live blackjack | Seven seats per table; when they are all taken, extra players can join through Bet Behind | Perfect Pairs, 21+3 (most tables) |
| Infinite Blackjack | Any number of players can join, so nobody waits for a seat | Perfect Pairs, 21+3, Bust It, Hot 3, Any Pair |
| Power Blackjack | Eight-deck shoe minus all the 9s and 10s; picture cards left in | Perfect Pairs, 21+3, Bust It, Hot 3, Any Pair |
Deck counts change from format to format, and the only shoe we describe is the one Evolution makes a feature of. Pulling every 9 and 10 out of Power Blackjack alters the two-card totals you can be dealt, so it plays as a different game under a familiar name. Open its rules panel before the first hand, and do not assume that what worked at a classic table carries across.
Whatever the format, the rules panel inside the table is the document that counts. Payouts, side-bet paytables and table limits all live there, and they belong to that table rather than to the format in general.
Your stake options: main bet, Bet Behind and side bets
Main bet
The chips in your own seat. You make the calls, and the bet is decided by your final total against the dealer's.
Bet Behind
Here you back a hand being played by someone in a seat. You take no decisions; whatever they choose, your money rides on their result at the odds the table pays for that hand. It is how you get onto a seven-seat table with no empty chair, and it suits anyone happy to watch rather than steer.
Side bets
- Perfect Pairs pays if your opening two cards are a pair, graded mixed, coloured or perfect according to how closely they match.
- 21+3 combines your opening two cards with the dealer's upcard and reads the three as a poker hand.
- Bust It, Hot 3 and Any Pair appear on Infinite and Power Blackjack. Bust It is a wager that the dealer's hand breaks 21.
Each side bet has a paytable of its own, displayed at the table, and because those odds belong to that table we do not repeat them here. One principle holds everywhere: a side bet stands alone. Winning it never rescues a losing main hand, and losing it never harms one.
Blackjack and bonus wagering at VegasNow: the 10% rule
Every bonus we credit comes with a contribution table in the general bonus terms (the version of 26 February 2024). Roulette counts 25%, blackjack and game shows 10%, baccarat nothing, and slots 100% apart from listed exceptions. At the blackjack table, then, A$10 of stakes nudges the counter forward by A$1, and it does so whether the hand wins or loses.
Blackjack is eligible, because the welcome package can be played in the live casino as well as the casino. Take a A$90 first deposit, which is above the A$30 card and MiFinity minimum. The opening stage adds 150%, or A$135, and 40× of that is A$5,400 to wager within seven days.
| Game used | Counts at | Total stakes | Bets at the A$8 ceiling | Daily, across 7 days |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pokies (non-excepted) | 100% | A$5,400 | 675 | About 96 |
| Roulette | 25% | A$21,600 | 2,700 | About 386 |
| Live blackjack | 10% | A$54,000 | 6,750 | About 964 |
| Baccarat | 0% | Cannot clear it | None | None |
Those counts assume A$8 on every hand, the quickest route the terms permit. At A$3 a hand the blackjack row stretches to 18,000 hands. The bonus fixes the requirement; your stake size and the 10% rate fix how many hands it takes.
A few more rules ride along. You can hold just one bonus at once, so the VEGAS2 second-stage offer waits until the first is cleared, expires or is declined. Cash-out from any single deposit-bonus offer stops at A$5,000. The bonus has a seven-day life. And our account terms ask you to turn each deposit over three times before withdrawing money tied to it, so the A$90 carries A$270 of its own play, with or without a bonus. Codes and caps for all four stages are on the welcome bonus page.
Why VegasNow blackjack is a slow route through a requirement
It comes down to the rate. A hand at the A$8 ceiling adds 80 cents to the counter, and playing it well adds nothing extra: the counter sees the stake, not the decision. Skill matters to your balance, never to your progress.
Then there is time. A live dealer works at the pace of the slowest seat, and the seven-day clock does not pause when you log out. Nearly a thousand hands a day for a week, as in the table above, is a shift at work, not a night of entertainment.
Splitting the work: a worked example
Keep the A$5,400 target but say you want some blackjack in the mix. Clear A$4,500 of it on eligible pokies and the last A$900 at the table: that is A$4,500 of spins plus A$9,000 of hands, A$13,500 of stakes overall instead of A$54,000. At A$6 a hand, the blackjack portion is 1,500 hands. The requirement tells you how much has to be staked; it says nothing about what will be left, and no average can predict a single week.
Skipping the bonus
If cards are the point of your visit, you are allowed to decline a bonus under our general terms. That lifts the A$8 ceiling, the seven-day clock and the 40× target, leaving the table's own limits in charge. The three-times deposit rule still applies before a withdrawal. Our terms page shows where the option sits, and support can confirm it for your account.
Earning VegasNow loyalty points at the blackjack table
Real-money play earns points in our seven-level loyalty programme, each level named after a Las Vegas venue. Pokies earn fastest, one redeemable point and one status point for each A$25 staked. Roulette needs A$100 per point. Blackjack, like baccarat, needs A$250 per point. Turnover is what counts, not results, so a winning night and a losing night of the same size score the same.
| Blackjack staked | Points earned | Pokie stakes for the same points |
|---|---|---|
| A$250 | 1 | A$25 |
| A$1,750 (350 hands at A$5) | 7 | A$175 |
| A$54,000 (the welcome example above) | 216 | A$5,400 |
| A$150,000 | 600, where Golden Glimmer II begins | A$15,000 |
Run the numbers on the A$90 example: A$54,000 at the table earns 216 points. In the Loyalty Store at Golden Glimmer, the entry level, 200 points buy a A$5 bonus, leaving 16 points spare. That A$5 is bonus money with 40× wagering, so A$200 of requirement, which is A$2,000 of blackjack stakes, and those stakes add 8 more points.
Better value comes with patience or a higher level. Saving 2,000 points at Golden Glimmer brings A$60 rather than A$50 in A$5 lots. At Parisian Palace Las Vegas, 750 points exchange for A$20; at Bella Vista, 100,000 points bring A$5,000. At blackjack's rate, 2,000 points takes A$500,000 of stakes, so points are best seen as a side effect of play you would do anyway. Level thresholds, and how members are chosen for the Sin City VIP Lounge, are on our loyalty and VIP page.
Diamond Club Blackjack Cashback and other VegasNow offers
Our promotions calendar includes one offer aimed squarely at card players, Diamond Club Blackjack Cashback. Its rate, its cap, the period it covers and any wagering attached are printed on the offer card in your account, not on the public page. Read that card before you play and treat it as the contract; we will not fill in figures that have not been published.
Only two of the nine recurring offers on the calendar show headline terms publicly. On Tuesdays, Lucky 7s Load Up adds 77% to a deposit, to a maximum of A$77 in bonus, and you can claim it again on further deposits the same day. On Fridays, Friday Night Spotlight hands out 40 free spins for each qualifying deposit, on that week's featured game, so they are spins rather than anything usable at a card table. Sunday Split, Grand Mondays and the others list their details on their own cards.
Worked through for a blackjack player: a A$90 Tuesday deposit at 77% produces A$69.30 of bonus. At the default 40× (confirm it on the card), that is A$2,772 to wager, which at 10% means A$27,720 of stakes, or 3,465 hands at A$8. On eligible pokies, A$2,772 of spins would do the same job.
A cashback paid as bonus money falls under the same general terms, so the A$8 ceiling and the 10% rate apply to it. And with just one bonus allowed at once, a reload you claim mid-week queues behind whatever is already active. Our weekly promotions page sets out the calendar day by day.
VegasNow live blackjack on a phone or tablet
The tables stream inside your mobile browser. Neither Apple's App Store nor Google Play lists a VegasNow app, and we do not distribute APK files, so anything offered under our name that way is not from us. To get an app-style icon instead:
- Safari on iPhone or iPad: the Share button leads to an Add to Home Screen option. Keep the Open as Web App toggle on for a full-screen view, then tap Add.
- Chrome on Android: the menu offers Install or create a shortcut; older versions call it Add to Home screen.
Video tables are hungrier for data than pokies, and the betting window keeps ticking even if your stream stutters. Use a steady connection and act early in each window. Put a deposit limit on the account before you sit down, not halfway through the evening. Our mobile page covers signing in from the icon and what to try when a stream will not load.
Before you sit down: a five-point check
- Bonus status. If one is running, the whole hand, Bet Behind and side bets included, stays at A$8 or less, and only a tenth of it counts.
- Format. Classic, Infinite or Power Blackjack: seats, side bets and, for Power Blackjack, the shoe itself all differ.
- Rules panel. Payouts, paytables and table limits are there, not on the lobby tile.
- Budget. Pick a spend and a stopping point, then back it up with a matching deposit limit.
- Offer card. Planning around the blackjack cashback or a reload? Read its card before depositing.
Live blackjack mistakes we see most often
- Counting a hand in full. Only 10% counts, so A$5,400 of requirement means A$54,000 at the table.
- Forgetting side bets in the A$8 sum. Add the main bet, side bets and any Bet Behind together.
- Bringing classic-table habits to Power Blackjack. No 9s or 10s in the shoe means different two-card totals.
- Expecting Bet Behind to give you a say. The seated player decides everything.
- Chasing a main-hand loss with side bets. Each settles alone; a lost Perfect Pairs chip is simply gone.
- Switching to baccarat to speed things up. It counts 0%, though the A$8 ceiling still binds.
- Withdrawing a deposit you have not played through. Three times turnover comes first; otherwise the request can be refused or charged a processing fee.
- Taking a bonus with no plan to clear it. It ties the A$8 ceiling and the seven-day clock to your play, and declining is allowed.

Cards carry no memory from one hand to the next, so a losing streak is never a reason to bet bigger. Fix a budget before the first chip, use the deposit limits in your account, and choose self-exclusion if the fun goes out of it. Our responsible gambling page walks through each tool. VegasNow live blackjack: questions and answers
Can I still play if every seat at a table is taken?
Yes. Classic Evolution tables have seven seats, and once they fill you can join through Bet Behind. Infinite Blackjack has no player limit at all, so there is always room.
What happens when I use Bet Behind?
Your stake rides on a hand someone else is playing in a seat. They choose every move, and you share their result at the odds the table pays for that hand.
What side bets are on the VegasNow blackjack tables?
Most tables offer Perfect Pairs and 21+3. Infinite and Power Blackjack add Bust It, Hot 3 and Any Pair. Each has its own paytable and settles separately from your main hand.
What share of a blackjack bet counts toward my bonus?
One tenth. Under the general bonus terms, blackjack contributes 10%, so a A$5,400 requirement takes A$54,000 of hands, with A$8 the most you can stake per hand while the bonus runs.
Are side bets part of the A$8 bet limit?
Treat them as part of it. Add your main bet, side bets and any Bet Behind together: A$5 in the seat plus A$2 on 21+3 and A$1 on Perfect Pairs is right on A$8, so anything more should wait until the bonus ends or is declined.
How quickly does blackjack earn loyalty points?
At 1 point for every A$250 staked. A$1,750 of hands earns 7 points, and reaching 200 points for a A$5 exchange at Golden Glimmer needs A$50,000 at the table. Exchanged bonuses carry 40× wagering.
Where are the Diamond Club Blackjack Cashback terms?
On the offer card in your VegasNow account. The public promotions page names the offer but does not publish its rate or cap. If it credits bonus money, the general terms apply, including the A$8 ceiling and the 10% rate.
Can I play live blackjack without a bonus?
Yes, a bonus can be declined under our general terms. That removes the A$8 ceiling, the seven-day clock and the 40× target; each deposit still needs three times turnover before withdrawal.
